Commission a Golden Miniature

As an artist, I love collaborating with clients to create works that tell a personal story.

How It Works:

Inspiration: Share your ideas, themes, or specific elements you’d like included in your painting. Whether it’s a beloved pet, a cherished memory, or a dream landscape. I've painted wedding venues, dreams, and homes that people wanted to remember. I don't generally do people in my miniatures, but am open to discussing faces and figures depending on your source material. I also do Georgian-style miniatures of eyes and hands (also known as 'Lover's Eyes').

1. Consultation:  We’ll have a conversation to refine your concept and discuss colours, sizes, and styles. I'll give you a sketch of the painting before we start. No AI is used in any part of my process. Only pencil, paper, paint and human thought.

2. Creation: Once we finalize the details, I’ll begin with your painting. You’ll receive updates throughout the process with an opportunity for feedback. 3 changes are included in the quote.

3. Delivery: Once completed, your painting will be carefully packaged and shipped to you (framed or unframed). Pricing does not include shipping. Collection is possible in Cape Town or we use couriers for delivery nationally and internationally.

All works are:

  • Painted in acrylic on 23k pure gold leaf on archival paper

Pricing Guide for 2026:

These prices are a guide to cost per size but you are not bound to these proportions. The larger the painting, the more gold is used.

  • 15 x 15 cm = ZAR 3800
  • 20 x 20 cm  = ZAR 6,375
  • 30 x 30 cm = ZAR 10,175

Pricing does not include framing but we can organize framing for you.
